Description:

In Part 2 of our study of Mary's "Magnificat", we will turn our attention to her primary focus-- the exaltation of God. We will notice that she extols four of His attributes in very concise fashion: God is All-Mighty, God is Personal, God is Holy and God is merciful. We will analyze each of these attributes and notice how Mary's understanding of God is firmly grounded in the Old Testament Scriptures. But specifically, we will focus on how her view of God augments and intensifies her worship, and how it serves as an excellent model for our worship today. In the process we will see the "Magnificat" for what it truly is-- a beautiful song of exaltation and Worship.
